After receiving her cosmetology degree from the Career and Technology Center in 2000, Mary Alice joined the WOW! Team, where she apprenticed under several master stylists, including Amy Houston and Wilson Eidson. She then purchased Wilson’s on Washington and rebranded as WOW! Salon Co. in December of 2021.

Having education at the forefront, Mary Alice graduated in advanced coloring from the Goldwell Academy in Maryland and L’Oréal Professionnel SoHo Academy in New York City. She also obtained her Associate Degree in Marketing from Greenville Tech and her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from USC-Upstate.

When “MA” is not in the salon, she and her husband Steve enjoy spending time cooking and entertaining with friends and family, gardening, and being with their poodle, Shug. She continues to be involved in various community programs, including serving as a celebrity chef for the 2019 CHOP Cancer event, which benefits the Cancer Survivors Park Alliance.
